Mr. Tomai founded Signature Construction Group, Inc. in New York City in 1990. Dan pursued his dream of building a higher quality construction company, which now has three locations. Today Signature is a middle market firm known for its dignity and quality, and delivery of projects on time and within budgets. Receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University in 1975, Dan went on to attend Fairleigh Dickenson University, Graduate School of Business from 1976-79. While still an undergrad, Dan was employed by Tishman Construction Company and stayed with them through 1981, when he left for a position as Project Manager at Crow Construction Company. In 1982, he joined Oestreicher realty and started Oestreicher Construction Corp., eventually being elected President in 1987. Three years later, in 1990, he went on to become an entrepreneur, growing our economy and creating jobs for many.

Dan continues to be actively engaged in all projects. His leadership ensures the continuation of values upon which the company was built – transparency, integrity, and quality.
